The organisers of the Eppynt Welsh Road Races which are due to take place in August 2018 have confirmed that the event will now take place over three days instead of the planned two days announced at the recent Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC in Birmingham last month.
Riders Liaison Director, Steve Plater said: ‘With 200 road race competitors having already registered their intention to ride at the inaugural races in 2018, the organisers have negotiated the extra day in the interests of safety.
‘The 2018 Eppynt Welsh Road Race will now take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3rd, 4th & 5th August, with Friday being used for all riders to learn the new 5.25-mile course, followed by practice. Saturday and Sunday will be dedicated to two full days of racing.
’ Steve continued: ‘Ticket sales are continuing to grow and proving to be better than we expected with over 30-weeks to go before the Brecon Beacons become alive to the sound of music – racing motorcycles at ‘full chat’!
