Great Escape Stunt Man @ The Museum

The Museum will be playing host to exciting visitor @ 10.00 am Tuesday 26/03/19.

“Great Escape” stunt rider and 1962 ISDT team member Tim Gibbs will be over from his home in New Zealand visiting the museum.

Tim is best known for the “sliding under the wire” scene where a wire was strung across the road to catch the German Wehrmacht motorcyclist.

A colleague and team mate of both Steve McQueen & Bud Ekins, Tim Gibbs shared the stunt work with his two better known counterparts.

Tim will be delighted to meet with any visitors who will be here on the day between 10.00am-11.00am
