National Motorcycle Museum revs up for the Christmas season

WinterWonderland-15Following last year’s successful festive season, the National Motorcycle Museum is already taking bookings for 2014’s Winter Wonderland themed Christmas party packages.

The museum will be transformed with snowy white décor, 8ft-tall decorated pine trees, twinkling star cloth and an LED fireplace, for both private and sharer parties.

New for 2014 are optional, deluxe, all-inclusive packages from £44.95 per person. All packages will include a festive three course carvery and standard packages start from £34.95 per person. In-house chefs will serve a freshly prepared menu, with four roast options including rib of beef and honey glazed gammon, followed by a selection of desserts such as homemade Christmas pudding, and rich Baileys and dark chocolate cheesecake.

Local host and entertainer, Mark Tolliss, is back by popular demand with a varied performance including singing, dancing and comedy. Each party will finish with a DJ set to have everyone rocking around the Christmas tree. Guests can also visit the museum exhibits during the evening, making this a unique party venue.

Nick Hartland, director at the National Motorcycle Museum, said: “Last year we had an extremely successful Christmas season, which saw a 20% turnover increase in November and December, compared to the same months in 2012. It’s great to see a number of provisional Christmas bookings already being made by returning clients. It’s going to be a particularly busy year with lots going on for our 30th anniversary, so we’re looking forward to Christmas already.”

Conveniently located only a five minute taxi ride from Birmingham International railway station, the Museum is also just off the M42 and less than 5 miles from the M6, and for those who have a designated driver there is plenty of parking. Alternatively, there are two hotels nearby, The Best Western Plus Windmill Village Hotel and the Best Western Plus Manor Hotel Coventry, offering rooms from £45pp.

Bookings can be made at www.nationalmotorcyclemuseum.co.uk, 0121 704 2784 or sales@thenmm.co.uk.
