Another great attraction at our Museum LIVE open weekend on is our LIVE “Start Up” feature.

On both days of the event, Barry Nutley will host the starting of over a dozen famous race/special machines with their owners/creators giving an in depth commentary on each individual bike.

Taking place indoors on the LIVE Britannia Suite stage, this aural treat will also feature genius special builder ALLEN MILLYARD who will be firing up three of his stunning motorcycle creations, including his Honda “6”.

New Rotary Track Bike Reveal @ Museum LIVE!

We are very proud to announce that a brand new rotary engine powered track motorcycle will get its world premiere at National Motorcycle Museum LIVE on Sat 30th and Sunday 31st October.  Built for the track by rotary race bike legend Brian Crighton, the new Crighton CR700 track bike will be fired up on stage during both Saturday and Sunday of the event! Brian Crighton will also be interviewed about his plans for this incredible new rotary as part of the live start up feature.

Brian is shown here at the Classic TT back in 2015 when the museum ran many of our original rotary race machines in the feature parade that year.

Royal Enfield Motorcycle Test Rides:

Royal Enfield Motorcycles will be in attendance offering the chance to test ride their latest machines over the course of the weekend. Don’t forget your licence!

Food Court & Bar:

Fantastic catering provided by the museum’s chefs will be available in our Premier Suite food court & bar area.

Our famous breakfast BBQ will also be available from 8.30am onwards.

Car parking for the event is just £10.00 per car with motorcycle parking absolutely free. Given the events huge popularity, the museum encourages car sharing which makes this nominal parking charge even better value!

We are very excited to welcome back TV star HENRY COLE to our LIVE stage. Held in the museum’s magnificent Britannia suite, TT legend & TV presenter rider Steve Plater will host these brilliant FREE TO ENTER stage shows which will be taking place on both Saturday AND Sunday of the event.
