Product Description
In the heyday of the Rockers much loved bikes were often to be seen parked outside the local cinema. Cinemas are a useful way to convey a feeling of a particular period. Back in Roy’s home town Birmingham, one of the local Flicks was ‘The Ritz’, wanting to put together a painting of a BSA Rocket Gold Star. Setting it outside a picture house of the same period seemed a suitable setting and gave the opportunity to use relevant film posters to anchor the picture in an appropriate era.
