Museum Workshop Training Day’s

One of the most important aspects of the National Motorcycle Museum friend’s scheme is giving its members the chance to take part in some unique activities that just wouldn’t be possible otherwise. Some of this unique content includes the Museum’s  “Workshop Training Days”.

Saturday 02/05/15 was the date when 40 friends of the Museum attended the first Museum workshop training day which was held in the Manxman suite at the National Motorcycle Museum.

Hosted by well-known motorcycle journalist and broadcaster Rachael Clegg with the Museum restoration team the day was entitled “hints & tips on restoring a Museum bike” and was split into morning and afternoon sessions. The day offered the chance to learn some of the “tricks of the trade” as regards motorcycle restoration and also included lots of interesting anecdotes & stories from our highly experienced workshop team.

Supported by SEALEY Power Products our Museum Workshop Training Days are free of charge to friends of the Museum as part of their membership.
