William Dunlop

Many people will now have heard the sad news that William Dunlop was killed last weekend in practice for a road race in Southern Ireland.

William rode museum bikes on a number of occasions over the years. It was just this time last year that he rode his late father Robert’s Norton Rotary for us at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

William was simply a very nice, unassuming, friendly guy who it was an an absolute pleasure to work with.

As a tribute to William we will be running all the museum bikes at this years Festival of Speed with his name on the screens.

The museum extends its sincere condolences to his partner and to the Dunlop family.
