Museum Friends Tour Date

Seven Friends of The National Motorcycle Museum membership scheme took part in the second “friends tour” day of 2016 which took place on Saturday 18th June. Riding various iconic motorcycles from the museum collection, a wonderful day was spent exploring beautiful countryside across two local counties. Machines ridden included a 1931 Brough Superior SS100, BSA Rocket Gold Star & a 1939 Triumph Tiger 100.

Friends can be seen receiving a pre-ride briefing from our expert IAM rider escort riders.

I rode the 1961 Velocette Venom which was a real peach, so easy to ride and properly quick too. A long term dream come true. I must add a big thank you to all involved in the organisation and running of the event for making this such a brilliant day out and to my fellow riders for their good company.
    I’ll be back for sure.
